Townsville Airport, a Queensland Airports Limited site has chosen TETRA technology for their resilient two way radio system.

Damm’s TetraFlex network forms the critical voice component for the airports disaster contingency. When all else fails, TetraFlex will still be providing critical voice communications to not only ground staff, but via a RoIP gateway, to emergency services and an Air Traffic Control channel.

TetraFlex is also providing radio coverage of the entire Townsville city precinct so critical communications during disasters is not limited to the airport.
